The Youth First Ministers Conference (YFMC) is an annual conference organized by the Youth-Government of Canada providing an opportunity for youth leaders from across the country to make friends, share experiences, discuss issues of importance, build & develop leadership skills, and to have fun and celebrate achievements.

The Youth-Government of Canada is an organization trying to bring the many different youth organizations together to ensure we are all working together to serve, represent, engage, and/or empower Canada’s youth community. By attending this conference, you are not only supporting Canada’s youth or helping us all come together in an alliance; you are supporting a collaborative mindset. Currently we find youth and youth organizations are constantly coming up with new ideas and new ways of doing things but the one important thing not done is collaboration and they are often competing for funding. The Youth-Government of Canada is working hard to change that mindset so that in the future when youth organizations approach you for sponsorship they come in partnership as opposed individually competing for the same dollars, ultimately saving your company money and time. Finally, we are offering you tangible outcomes during the conference.
