Bob Lanois is an interpretive artist both visually and musically. With his brother Daniel Lanois and Brian Eno, Bob hosted the birth of what the world would come to know as ambient music.
"Ambient Music was born in Hamilton, Canada," Bob proudly answers.
Bob also produced and engineered the first punk album in his mother's basement. Simply Saucer's only recording is recognized around the world as a groundbreaking musical statement

If you ever dug John Fahey (the original "American Primitive"), Nick Drake (Volkswagen commercials), and W.B. Yeats (cf. "Rockin' Chair" , an adaptation of "Why Should Not Old Men Be Mad") there's a goshdarn good chance you'll dig Edgar Breau..
Long ago, Breau was in a band called Simply Saucer, but he's alright now. Really! That group's sole LP, Cyborgs Revisited, was re-issued in 2003 by Sonic Unyon Records. It did okay, and people said nice things about it, things like "the greatest Canadian album ever" (Alternative Press), "8.5" (Pitchforkmedia) and "What more could you ask for? A cherry enema?" (Byron Coley - Spin Magazine). You can look at the Sonic Unyon web-site for more info on the Saucer, if you like.
