We want you to help get people talking about the election, our city and the services provided by our municipal government. Toronto Elections presents the 'Bring It. By Ballot.' Poster Contest, allowing youth the opportunity to create an attention-grabbing poster for Toronto’s municipal election using themes related to the election such as; democracy, civic participation, community identity and the City’s services. We are asking youth to help raise awareness across the city through creating a vibrant poster. Between May 17 and August 6, Torontonians aged 14-24 are eligible to enter the 'Bring It. By Ballot.' Poster Contest. Ten finalists will be chosen by fans of this page and the top three winners as selected by our jury will be awarded prizes. • First place: The first place poster submission winner will receive a $250.00 cash prize, along with a certificate acknowledging their award. The winning poster will be used for the City of Toronto Elections' youth engagement campaign. • *Second place: Second place winner will receive a $150.00 cash prize and will receive a certificate acknowledging their award, and will receive a special gift from the City. • *Third place: Third place winner will receive a $100.00 cash prize and will receive a certificate acknowledging their award, and will receive a special gift from the City. * The second and third place winning posters may also be used in the City of Toronto Elections' youth engagement campaign.
