Born and raised in a socially active immigrant household in Toronto, Rachel Dhawan has been fighting most of her life for human rights and anti-oppression through her NGO work and art practice. After completing her Bachelor of Fine Arts at Concordia in Montreal, Rachel stayed on in Montreal as production manager for the Apathy Is Boring website, and to build her custom silver jewellery business, Brazen Design.
