Anarchist Soccer Spring Do

What can I do? Attend a Conference

Category: Education

When: 06:30 PM April 9, 2008 to 09:30 PM April 9, 2008

On wed April 9th, we're having an info/planning/remiscing session at Northcliffe Square for the anarchist soccer games that happen in Laurier and NDG park in the summer. Endless winter notwithstanding, you should come if you:

1. Want more info on what the fuss is all about with anarchist soccer before you decide if you want to come out to play this summer.

2. Want to help Kick Out the Jams by making anarchist soccer an awesome force for social change in Montreal (get the word out, flyering, makin t-shirts, inform newcomers what the space is about, organizing potlucks, etc.)

3. Were a regular attendee at the games that happened at Laurier parc and NDG parc last summer and want to reminisce / reconnect before getting into gear again as soon as snow melts.

The plan is to meet next wed April 9th at 6:30 PM at Northcliffe Square (2000 Northcliffe, suite 219 – right by Vendome metro) and talk about what anarchist soccer has been about this past year and where we envision it going. We can then break at 7:30 PM for a de-li-cious vegan meal courtesy of the Montreal Urban Community Sustainment dining coop (http://www.mucs.ca - $2-$6 suggested donation) during which time people who want to help Kick Out the Jams, can talk about what said Jams will look like.
