You can't go a day without hearing this declaration: The 2008 presidential election will be the most important American election in the last 50 years.

Is it hype? Is it true? Considering the enormity of the issues: War in Iraq, global warming, failing economy, abortion, race and healthcare -- it doesn't seem so far-fetched, does it?

But there are those who say that voting doesn't matter. What do you have to say about that?

A new site called www.opposingviews.com has just launched a debate on: Does My Vote Matter? Check out the League of Women Voters taking on a social commentator who worked in the Clinton White House and a professor at Rhodes College.
