A Mic in One Hand, the Country in the Other.

Beautiful, talented, and world-renowned, Canadian musicians seem awesome at everything but do they have the right stuff to run our country? Remember Stephen Harper’s performance of the Beatles’ tune "With a Little Help from my Friends" back in October 2009? Well, he’s not the only Prime Minister with a musical talent.

Jean Chrétien plays the trombone; he formed a band with fellow Liberal MPs Joe Fontana and Roger Gallaway (with much regret "True Grit" is currently not on tour).

Kim Campbell plays cello, piano, and guitar; she also wrote a musical entitled “Noah’s Ark” with her husband.

Brian Mulroney famously sung a duet with the former President of the U.S.A, Ronald Reagan. Their song of choice? "When Irish Eyes are Smiling". Not bad, eh? But what if we went a step further? What if we elected a Canadian musician as our Prime Minister? Who would you choose, and why?
