Bring Sacha Bond Home to Canada

The government of "Leadership in Mental Health" is going out of its way to block the transfer of a prisoner who has bipolar disorder and is serving twenty years in a Florida jail. Sacha Bond is a young man, whose illness got the better of him at a young age. No one was hurt in the crime he committed.

This denial of transfer goes against the recommendation of Correctional Services Canada.

The government has called this person a "threat to the security of Canada", when in fact he just needs mental health treatment. Don't let that term fool you, Sacha Bond is nothing of the sort. It's just the only justification the Ministry could give for blocking transfer. They are doing so for political reasons.
