The Problem: Tobacco companies have a history of using Hollywood to subliminally promote their products. Youth who are exposed to smoking in movies are twice as likely to start using tobacco products.
Le problème : Les compagnies de tabac se sont souvent servies de Hollywood pour promouvoir leurs produits de façon subliminale. Les jeunes qui voient des gens fumer dans les films sont deux fois plus susceptibles de commencer à utiliser des produits de tabac.
The Solution: Take smoking out of youth rated movies!
La solution : Éliminer le tabac des films pour les jeunes!
Action: The Ontario Film Review Board (OFRB) has a responsibility to the youth of Ontario to keep smoking out of youth-rated movies. Rating tobacco use 18A will end this deadly advertising.
Action : La Commission de contrôle cinématographique de l'Ontario (CCCO) a une responsabilité envers les jeunes d'attribuer une cote de 18A aux films ayant des scènes de tabac. Ceci contribuera à mettre fin aux pratiques mortelles des compagnies de tabac.
