by Apathy is Boring — November 25, 2008

Name: Green Party of Quebec
Leader: Guy Rainville
Official Representative: Christopher Coggan

History:
The original version of the Green Party of Quebec was originally founded in 1980. The most current version was developed in 2001, after it’s top management had switched the Parti Quebecois in 1994 (losing it’s recognition as a party in 1998) and after rejecting several requests to join Union des Forces Progressistes.

Key Principles:
“The Quebec Greens aim to unite citizens around a coherent and ambitious vision of the future, one that speaks to all those concerned with the preservation and enhancement of our quality of life.”

Environment (which equally encompasses social and economic domains)
Sustainable political development.
