Volunteers Needed - Ottawa Battle of the Bands

AisB will be tabling and surveying at the 27th Annual Student Showcase Jam & Youth Fair in Ottawa. We'll be driving in from Montreal and have room to take several people, so if you want to volunteer and you live in either city, let us know!

Details:
Date: Saturday April 5th, 2008
Time: The event is from 6 - 9pm; we'll be leaving Montreal Saturday afternoon
Place: Nepean Sportsplex, Halls A & B, 1701 Woodroffe Avenue, Ottawa

Volunteers will be responsible for:

• Surveying participants in the crowd
• Passing out Apathy is Boring flyers
• Selling gear
• Signing people up to the mailing list
• Telling people about the organization

Presented in partnership with Live 88.5 FM, the 27th Annual Student Showcase Jam is a night for Ottawa area youth to showcase their talent. The successful bands chosen from the auditions will take part in a ”Battle of the Bands“ competition and will be eligible to win some fantastic prizes.

The event will also feature a Youth Fair, where participants can get information about successful youth-run initiatives and find out how they can get involved.
