Apathy is Boring wants to know how you are going to help us fight apathy in Canada!  Every contribution counts so whether you decide to set up a meeting with your local MP or if you decide to help engage others at an Apathy is Boring event, we want to hear from you!

Here's the deal: Time to get creative and send us your pledge

It could be a video or why not write a short manifesto? Is picturing your pledge more your style or does your voice do the job?


Here are some of the pledges that have already been made:
  • I pledge to spend two hours painting the new Apathy is Boring Office.
  • I pledge to blog about an issue I care about one a week.
  • I will take my cousin to a concert to see a Canadian artist that. inspired me.
  • I will donate two hours a week to a cause I support.
  • I pledge to help fight Apathy by helping spread the word at their next event.
Your pledge could sent in the following formats:
  •  A video formatted for YouTube (include link) no more than 30 seconds long
  •  A photo of your pledge (it has to be clear what you are trying to accomplish)
  •  A voice recording in MP3 format no more than 30 seconds long
  •  A hand written note, postcard of no more than 4 lines (under 100 words) mailed to the Apathy is Boring office (3831 St. Denis, Montreal, QC, H2W 2M4)

The prize:


A prize pack filled with CDs, t-shirts and more, courtesy of Sony Music Entertainment Canada.

The small print:
  • The contest is only open to people residing in Canada.
  • The contest begins on April 15th and ends on May 31st 2009.
  • The winner will be announced in the June 2009 newsletter.
