Be Part of A is B's Street Team at Frostbite Festival

Hello A is B Yukon
 
Apathy is Boring is kickin’ off their winter street team campaign in the Yukon to spread the word that staying informed and being an active citizen can be sexy.
 
Our street teams are responsible for letting people know about the organization, handing out flyers, surveying the audience about Canadian democracy, and encouraging people to check out the A is B website.
 
 
We are looking for:
 
One Lead Volunteer (Honorarium TBD):

Responsibilities:
 
Coordinate the local volunteer team with an Apathy is Boring staff member leading up the event.
 
Participate in at least one phone meeting leading up to the event with an Apathy is Boring staff member.
 
Coordinate a meeting time and location.
 
Bring all contents of the Apathy is Boring kit to the event site.
 
Collect all the material and mail it back to the Apathy is Boring office.
 
Provide 1 table for set-up.
 
2-3 additional volunteers (Honorarium TBD)

Responsibilities:
 
Fill out short surveys with audience members (before and after the shows, and in between acts)
 
Pass out flyers about Apathy is Boring.
 
About the Frostbite Music Festival
 
This three day festival features exciting Canadian bands such as Dan Mangan, Cris Derksen, Two Hours Traffic, Jason Plumb & the Willing to name a few, but don’t take out word for it, check it out for yourself.
 
Location: Yukon Arts Centre (Google map link)
 
Date: February 19 to February 21 2010
 
Street Team Hours: Volunteers would need to be set up before 6:30 p.m. on Friday, 11:30 a.m. on Saturday and 11:30 a.m. on Sunday
