The Marxist-Leninist Party of Canada aims to create a classless society. Founded in 1970, the party has a long-term goal of creating a socialist society and turning Canada into a communist country.

The Policies and Priorities section was last updated in March, before the 2011 federal election was called. As you may know, candidates and parties make lots and lots (and lots) of promises during elections. So many, in fact, that we can't keep up with them. This Party Profile is a general summary.
