The Marijuana Party promotes the legalization of marijuana. Founded in 2000, the Marijuana Party supports individual cannabis legalization initiatives through decentralized participation.

 

The Policies and Priorities section was last updated in March, before the 2011 federal election was called. As you may know, candidates and parties make lots and lots (and lots) of promises during elections. So many, in fact, that we can't keep up with them. This Party Profile is a general summary.
