Samara is a new organization dedicated to the idea that public service and public leadership matter. We encourage this with projects that strengthen three areas: political leadership; participation of citizens in public life; and public affairs journalism. We are looking for a small team of volunteers to help develop Samara's next phase of activities. Samara was founded in 2009, and is an independent, charitable organization. We are based in Toronto, but our projects extend into communities across the country.
