European and Canadian youth organizations, networks, and associations are building sustainable alliances and innovation together in order to find solutions to gender inequality, climate change and violent extremism.

Apathy is Boring has teamed up with OXFAM Québec, OXFAM Italia, Youth Policy Labs & International Falcon Movement to create the FIRST ever transatlantic youth dialogue. Apathy is Boring will be focusing on the theme of Climate Change across labs (weekend gatherings) in Canada. The project will run internationally for a period of 2 years, with an objective of co-creating, learning, and alliance-building with youth across the Atlantic.

We’re looking for 7 engaged youth in Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto and Vancouver to participate in labs across the country to help us foster these conversations and build these relationships.

Important Dates

The ‘AMPLIFY’ Project will run for a period of two years wherein participants meet at three different gatherings including the first Lab, the Transatlantic Youth Dialogue and the second Lab. Lab participants must be able to commit to the first Lab which will take place over a weekend (date TBC by their local Lab Leader), as well as be available to join the 4-day summit taking place in Montreal on November 4-7th, 2019. All expenses will be paid. Lab participants across Canada and Europe will come together to meet, exchange, and get inspired.
