Born and raised in Montreal, Betty Belony comes from a large family. She started her studies in commerce and then received a degree in Business Administration (with a minor in Finance) from the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University. Eager to learn more about the world of finance, Betty went on to study at HEC (Université de Montréal). Despite her quiet nature, she loves to participate in fun, dynamic activities.
“I joined Apathy is Boring to learn more about the practical aspects of finance, as opposed to the more theoretical. When I first started here, what really stood out for me was being able to witness and influence the many changes that occurred within the finance department—which were tied to the rapid growth and dramatic rise of the organization at the national level. It was quite a challenge, which I appreciate because I got to benefit from a great learning experience.”
