Sophie is an Innovative Finance Fellow at the Impact and Innovation Unit of the Privy Council Office. She is seconded to Global Affairs Canada where she participates in setting up the Department's new innovative finance unit, an investment program to deliver on Canada’s Feminist International Assistance Policy.
Prior to this she worked in the Social finance team of the J.W. McConnell Family Foundation, a national private family foundation that applies social innovation and social finance approaches to areas such as reconciliation between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples, the transition to a low-carbon economy, and the future of cities.
Sophie is a CFA charterholder and holds a Master’s degree in business from the ESC Rennes School of Business in France. Originally from France, she is based in Canada since 2011 and previously lived in Spain, Thailand and Mexico.
