How Can Youth Drive Social Innovation Through Community Problem-Solving?

Friday, March 14th, 8:30 PM ET
Hosted by Alex Shibu

Canada’s youth hold untapped potential to shape stronger communities, but various barriers and often perceived barriers often hold young voices back. How can we empower young innovators to identify and turn overlooked local challenges into real-world solutions?

In this interactive workshop, we will begin by mapping community problems (with a focus on youth-centric issues)

Next, brainstorming pathways to address barriers like resource gaps, policy roadblocks, and mentorship access aligned with the hackathon’s “build something people want” and taking the first step towards a solution in 30 hrs.

Both technical and non-technical folks are welcome!
