Project Fridge WPG, is a youth-led mutual aid initiative with the goal of providing a community fridge for the city of Winnipeg. As a collective, we understand the importance of food security in relation to mental health and overall well-being, thus fuelling our belief in the benefits of this project. With the theme of allyship in mind, we believe that a community fridge is not only beneficial, but sustainable, with the support of local community members. We aim to keep the fridge stocked for anyone to use with the mantra of “take what you need, and leave what you don’t” to ensure that anyone can benefit from the community fridge.

Note: this project is no longer active and is / was not affiliated with other community fridge projects in Winnipeg.

Time Out 204 is a podcast built by youth for youth. We focus on the issue of the lack of gender inclusivity in sports and how it impacts individuals and communities. In doing so, we create a space where experiential and healthy discussions are the foundation of each episode. Our mission is to inform and empower youth on this issue so that they can positively contribute to the conversation.

Not Your Mothers Sex Ed is a podcast that aims to explore sexual health and education in a safe and inclusive environment. Made by youth, for youth, we’re bridging the gaps in our community by breaking down the stereotypical sex ed conversation. You can expect laughter, honesty and informative conversations. Basically, we’ve got you covered for everything your mom didn’t teach you.

Gender Adventure is a community-based zine that aims to DECOLONIZE GENDER. The zine provides a bold space for artists and readers to explore and communicate their gender experience.
