A space that enables youth to connect and learn, and empowers them to dream of a better future. Through games, music, and somatics participants will have an opportunity to reflect on current realities, make connections, and discover tools for healing.

Each participant will be given an activity passport and be invited to collect stamps by engaging in activities ranging from games to yoga to talking to a stranger. There will be lots of food. Accessibility of all kinds is important to the team, and the overarching desire is to create a space where people can come together in joy.

Workshops include topics like community-driven knowledge, navigating the healthcare system, and getting ready for your first job interview.

A cookbook that speaks to the power of food in shaping our personal and community resilience.

The exhibition will explore resiliency within ourselves, our communities, and our city. We hope to create a safe space for youth and community members to share and connect. In addition to the exhibition, there will be special talks and events throughout the day for the public to engage with the topics.

First, a picnic in the park where participants explore gender inclusion, consent and boundaries through art. Second, a digital journal for folks to reflect on their understanding of various forms of consent in the contexts of childhood, personal relationships, your workplace, and your community.

This video series is our attempt at exploring diverse conceptions and experiences of gender, bringing the community together through honest and reflective conversations.

This project encourages young people who do not have the knowledge or language to participate confidently in conversations about gender to share their experience with gender expressions and discover those of others in order to normalize the consciousness and reflection of one’s personal gender and their expression of it in everyday life.

It aims to provide knowledge and create connections that youth need to be active in adopting sustainable food practices. Roots For Change will challenge its community in adopting individual changes on the theme and will highlight local BIPOC initiatives and leaders in the field.

This project engages youth and the general population in a 15-day challenge that will encourage participants to avoid disposable cups and use reusable alternatives instead.The challenge will be wrapped up with an immersive and educative event the form of a zero-waste coffee tasting event where people will bring their reusable coffee mugs to try out coffee and learn about sustainable practices related to their everyday coffee drinking.

I Am Montreal / Je Suis Mtl is a photo-series project that aims to challenge the dominant narrative and understanding of what it means to be a Montrealer and/or a Quebecer as a way to make space for more marginalized identities.

Rise Up aims to build bridges of solidarity among young people from various cultural communities in Montreal.
