WHY RISE?
Because I wanted to be active in the community with other young actors in Montreal. You can have ideas on your own, but the collective is a powerful catalyst. I love divergent thinking, and cultural and intellectual movements in society. In the world, humans know how to organize themselves around their differences, and I wanted to be part of that. As people discriminated against by social injustice, they/we have just as much a place in influencing what culture becomes and the choices that will be made for a more committed, attentive and resilient society. I didn't know where to start.
